City and suburban trips work differently
Downtown trips are short on the map and slow on the street. One-way grids, bridge lifts on the river, lower Wacker Drive and hotel loading zones decide how a pickup works, so chauffeurs plan the approach to the building before they arrive. Suburban trips are the opposite: longer distances on tollways where the time of day matters most. The Kennedy, the Eisenhower, I-294 and I-88 all have predictable rush periods, and pickups are timed around them.
For a day that covers both, such as a Midway arrival, an Oak Brook meeting and a dinner in River North, an hourly charter keeps one car and one chauffeur with you throughout.
